CCA 2027 invites contributions that connect coated-conductor research with practical application requirements.
Scientific scope
We welcome research and engineering studies that explain a clear problem, present evidence and discuss its relevance to superconducting conductors or devices. Experimental work, validated modeling, manufacturing experience and application studies can all contribute to the discussion.
- Conductor processing, scale-up and reproducibility.
- Materials design and performance under relevant field, temperature and load conditions.
- Characterization, quality assessment and interpretation of measurements.
- Cables, coils, joining and system integration.
- Thermal stability, protection and mechanical reliability.
- Magnet technologies and superconducting electrical applications.
Make the application connection clear
A useful contribution explains why the result matters beyond the immediate experiment. Authors are encouraged to identify the intended operating conditions, the comparison used to assess an improvement, and the remaining constraints. Negative results and unresolved challenges can also support a productive discussion when presented with a clear method and sufficient evidence.
Preparing to contribute
Prepare an abstract describing the objective, approach, principal results and significance. The final submission notice will specify the template, length, deadlines and available presentation preferences. The scientific committee will consider how accepted contributions fit the developing program.
See Guideline for Paper Submission for preparation advice and On-line Paper Submission for the submission-service status. Details of any full-paper publication arrangement will be announced separately; submission of an abstract does not establish a journal or proceedings publication commitment.
